for a group of UTEP students from different majors to get together to create a charity project which could be followed on a yearly basis. The projet would consist of helping out the kids in the colonias with things such as books or maybe building a community center for them where they can go study, play, or just go to feel safe.

The financing for this project would be done through a combination of donations provied by our community or by the community of Cd. Juarez. The students could also seek out donations from our local businesses. Students could also participate in various fundraisers such as car washes and raffles. |

The rationale for this project is that it can provide an opportunity for students from different majors to unite for one purpose, to serve our community. This project would not only benefit our community and the children but it would also benefit the quality of student life becasue it would unite us with our fellow students outside of the academic life. |
